Lea Harracksingh, MD, is a Board-Certified Doctor of Internal Medicine and practices at the AssociatesMD office in Plantation, Florida.
In 1990, Dr. Harracksingh attended the University of Miami, a private research university in Coral Gables, Florida, where she studied biology and earned a Bachelor of Science. Next, she attended the University of Miami School of Medicine, now called the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine (UMMSM), and earned her Medical Degree in 1994.
She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and stayed an extra year as Chief Resident of the residency program.
Dr. Harracksingh has also worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami for over three years before moving to Plantation, Florida, where she has been practicing medicine for over 20 years.
Dr. Harracksingh has established many long-term relationships with her patients. She enjoys helping them keep their health great and lives prosperous through internal medicine, primary care, and a patient-centered approach.
